So we built Skoot — a platform that connects travelers with verified, vetted rental shops, and crucially, we hold your deposit ourselves. When a shop wants to make a damage claim, they submit it to Skoot for approval with photos and a fair repair invoice. You get to review and dispute it through the app. The shop cannot simply pocket your money or hold your passport hostage. Every booking comes with a digital contract, transparent pricing, and 24/7 English-speaking support. If something goes wrong, we step in and handle it.

Every shop on the Pattaya Scooter Rental platform is personally vetted by the Skoot team before it can take a single booking. We visit the shop in person, inspect the fleet, photograph each scooter, verify the business registration, and confirm the owner agrees to Skoot's deposit and damage-claim rules — most importantly, that deposits are held by Skoot, not by the shop, and that any damage claim must be submitted with evidence and approved by Skoot before a single baht is deducted.

We re-audit shops on a rolling basis, monitor every review left by riders, and remove partners who fall below our standards. If you ever feel a shop has acted unfairly, you can contact us and a real human on the Skoot team will look into it.
